After more than 80 satisfied campers in 2010<\/a>, the long awaited\u00a0third iteration of HaxoGreen, in its 2012 edition is finally here! After\u00a0a very successful start into the forays of international hackcamps and\u00a0hackerfests, hackerspaces and hackerspace-folks from all over Europe and\u00a0beyond will meet for an informal exchange of knowledge on the this third\u00a0iteration of our 4-day outdoors summer-camp.

\nStill cosy at a maximum of 140 people, still at the same perfect setting\u00a0that offers commodities for shopping, outdoors for camping and areas\u00a0filled to the brink with adventure<\/a> and history<\/a>. The camp will take place from Thursday, July 26th till Sunday,\u00a0July 29th and be bristling with geeks and their innovative ideas.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Talks, workshops, live music in the evenings, geocaching, fresh food and\u00a0most of all very interesting people make this an event that is not to be\u00a0missed.<\/p>\n

Whether you’re hacking on your project, looking for new and exciting\u00a0ideas or just craving to share 3 midsummer nights outdoors, socialising\u00a0with other hackers, artists and geeks, HaxoGreen is the place to be.\u00a0No need to be a 1337 H4X0r, we welcome all inquisitive people from\u00a0around the globe.<\/p>\n

The camp is organized by syn2cat a.s.b.l., \u00a0the association that\u00a0brought you the Luxembourgian hackerspace<\/a>. We appreciate your\u00a0participation, be it by holding a lecture, tutoring a workshop or\u00a0presenting your projects and ideas during a 10 min lightning talk.<\/p>\n

Location<\/h2>\n

The camp is located at the scouts’ grounds near the city of Dudelange in\u00a0the southern region of Luxembourg.\u00a0The camping ground features adequate restrooms and shower facilities.\u00a0Indoor rooms for lectures and workshops are also available.\u00a0The nearby town of Dudelange, near the borders to France and Germany,\u00a0offers access to shops and markets for all of your grocery needs.<\/p>\n

Suggested presentation and workshop topics<\/h2>\n

Participate with your lectures, panel discussions, workshops, or\u00a0lightning talks. (Though you can give a lightning talk without\u00a0submitting its topic.) Your lectures and workshops don’t have to be\u00a0centered on or limited to technology. Lectures with a background in
\nsociety, community, science and art are welcome as well.\u00a0Here are some examples of the inter-disciplinary fields that our\u00a0audience would be interested in, but feel free to suggest your own:<\/p>\n
